FanDuel is the largest US online sportsbook by both handle and gross gaming revenue. Its parent, Flutter Entertainment, runs roughly 40% of the regulated US market — a lead built on simple onboarding, a fast app, and the most-promoted SGP product in the country.

FanDuel Group is a subsidiary of Dublin- and New York-listed Flutter Entertainment plc (NYSE: FLUT). It launched a US sportsbook in New Jersey in September 2018, two weeks after DraftKings, by leveraging the retail license of Meadowlands Racing. As of January 2026 it operates regulated online sportsbooks in 25 US states plus DC and Puerto Rico, including AZ, CO, CT, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MS, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, TN, VA, WV, WY, and Washington DC. Arkansas is the most recent addition.

Welcome Bonus

The current April 2026 offer is Bet $5, Get $300 in Bonus Bets if your bet wins. There are no minimum-odds restrictions, so a -2000 favorite qualifies. If the qualifier loses, no bonus is issued — this is a structural difference from DraftKings, which credits bonus bets regardless of outcome. Arkansas is an exception: the FanDuel AR welcome offer pays the bonus whether the qualifying wager wins or loses, per state regulation. Bonus bets expire 7 days after credit.

Product and Markets

FanDuel covers all US majors plus tennis, golf, MMA, soccer, motorsports, cricket, and esports. FanDuel's hold is consistent with DraftKings — roughly 4.5% on NFL sides and totals, 4.5-5.0% on NBA, and 6-8% on player props. FanDuel notably runs slightly worse pricing on MLB run lines and NHL puck lines than DraftKings on average. Pinnacle remains the sharp benchmark at 2.0-2.5%, and bet365 runs cleaner reduced juice on select NFL and NBA markets.
