Important update: The Golden Nugget Sportsbook brand no longer operates as a standalone online sportsbook in the United States. After DraftKings completed its $1.56 billion all-stock acquisition of Golden Nugget Online Gaming in May 2022, the Golden Nugget Sportsbook apps were gradually wound down and players were migrated to DraftKings Sportsbook. Overview

Golden Nugget Sportsbook launched in New Jersey in 2018 under the Golden Nugget Atlantic City casino license, then expanded to Michigan, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and briefly Virginia. It was owned by Landry's CEO Tilman Fertitta before the DraftKings deal. At its peak it was a recognizable secondary brand with a heavy casino-to-sportsbook cross-sell, but it never cracked the top five in market share in any state.

No new-user bonus is currently available because the standalone sportsbook is offline. Former Golden Nugget Sportsbook players with existing account balances were notified to withdraw or transfer to DraftKings during the shutdown period.

If you search the App Store or Google Play today, you will not find a standalone Golden Nugget Sportsbook app. The Golden Nugget Casino app is still available in qualifying states and remains one of the strongest iCasino products in the US, with over 1,000 slots and a deep live dealer suite.
